this may help it's from the USPS flag etiquette. Size of Flags Flags are often too small. When your purchase your flags, use the following guidelines, rounding up to the next larger commercially available size when necessary. The national ensign flown at a flag staff at the stern of your boat should...

I'm no expert by any means but what size and pitch is your propeller? As previously mentioned is the boat loaded or empty? If you're unable to get over 2000 RPMs that would sound like an engine (timing, etc.) or propeller problem.

The guy that did my cover last August did the one with the one layer. I was skeptical at first, HOWEVER I trailered the boat 2300 miles to the Sunnyland show and back and there was no wear or scuffing evident anywhere.

Re: 12V generator type nr.

you can purchase a "converted" 6 to 12 volt generator that way you stay original looking. Contact any of the suppliers on the forum like VannEss or finewoodboats. they can help. it's a simple swap and I believe the starter doesn't have to be modified.

Based on pictures, it is all black, probably 17" somewhat like a Willis military Jeep wheel . Staib says that he's not figured out who made those wheels. Help!! I'm not sure what your wheel would look like but if you google "Willis Jeep Steering Wheel" there were ton's of pictures and ones for sale.

The original prop is listed on your Hull Card. If you don't have it call Jim at finewoodboats.com or go on his website I believe he has pages matching props with boats based on the year.

Your hull card should tell you what was in the boat when new. I have a picture of a sample card somewhere but can't locate it at the moment. you could call these guys.

I believe what dag55 was referring to is called Trufuel here in the US. It's a synthetic fuel (sold in HD or Lowes) with a shelf life of 3 years and leaves no gum or residue when it evaporates. We Ran the engine till warm changed the oil, then ran tru fuel and antifreeze through the engine. No worri...

That Hull # is not listed in the ACBS directory, BUT there are several 17' boats which do not list their hull numbers. You could always join ACBS and reach out to the unlisted Hull number members to see if they have your boat.

Have you looked at the remote filters from Northwood boat works? They have reproduction filters, which will keep your K original while filtering the oil.
