Racing runabout vinyl source.

Hi...Has anyone found a source for the darker red vinyl used in the later production racing runabouts? It's my understanding that Chinese Red (bright red) was used only in the earlier red & white racers, and the mahogany boats had Oxyn Red (darker, with more grain). Thanks for any help you can give....
