I have stripped it down to bear wood and have not found any rot at all. It had an ohio boat reg deacal on it from the 70,s It is just un...

Boat head
I was wondering where I might start to look for pictures of Chris craft yacht. Old ones. I am putting on an addition to out summer home at senecalake and want it to look like a head in an old yacht. I know this is off the standered boat subject.
But thanks anyway for any resoponces

Line drawings
WE got these from the mariner museum. Have you ever seen line drawings for a Chris craft boat. What we were looking for was some drawing that would show what shape that bottom frame is. Is the side that the plank fit to curved into the boat. And how frames would be on plane form the transom towards ...

boat bottom
Yes you are correct.the boat us turned over and it would be the bottom or plank side. I just redid my 66 Resorter (Century) and all of the plank side of the frames were straight from chine to the keel. He used the old frames as patterns. I am wondering if this could have accured do to setting of a t...

A friend of mine is redoing the bottom of a 1951 Chris Craft Special Runabout. I was there the other day to help drill the drive shaft hole In the keel. While doing so I was looking at what he had replaced frame wise. Thats when I noticed that the top of some of the frame did not line up with the pl...
