volvo 270 stern drive

Hi folks,
I am trying to learn about the use and care of this type of drive. I have never owned one. Is there a resource for an operators manual? All I can locate online are service manuals. I hope not to need one of those anytime soon 8) ...Thanks in advance.

pg 5 edit

Thank you to the Board for tending to the edit of page 5. I just thought I would post now to show that I am one that not only complains, but also supports. That is all, over and out.

Hi Ollon

I think I will love this little one. My last boat was a 1965 38' CC Commander. This resto will be a walk in the park compared to that big old gal. I am hoping to share info here on the Buzz. I will be needed advise on the v6 and interior photos for sure. The biggest problem is she hasn't run in 2 yr...

Saved, just pulled a 17' Lancer outta the woods.

I just brought another Chris Craft home. :D She is a 17' Lancer, titled as a 1973. I will start the project asap. she could be called a survivor. Dirty, a little rough, but all there and original. Any members have a sistership? Looking for photos and details.... http://s18.postimage.org/wokngbdgl/ph...

About pg 5

I gotta weigh in on this. I would like to remind all the gentleman involved in club leadership, boat buzz posting and The Brass Bell of something. I say without the intention of offending anyone in particular: Show a little class boys, We are Chris Craft guys! There is a time and place and way to in...

my $.02 in general and about the Brass Bell

I am happy to see the report about the restructuring of the club. It would appear we are on a proactive track and the future looks bright for the CCABC. As a life long classic boat enthusiast I have devoured publications about old boats since the seventies. Some of our classics weren't that old back...

A suggestion

To reiterate what was mentioned in an earlier post. Assumptions and rumors are starting to flow like exhaust water pumped from a fresh impeller. As a long time club supporter, who will continue to on be board, I would like to know a little more about how the ducks have been put in a row. I hope the ...

Well at least I'm current now!

I must be slipping, thought I renewed my membership last month, but did not. Nothing to do with any issues other than a mild case of CRS disease. Patiently looking forward to the new Bell's.

Uninformed, but supportive

I love the Brass Bells of late. They serve as great inspiration and motivate me to maintain my lifelong love of Chris Crafts. I think the direction the club is being led in is spot on. Technologically, we are way ahead of where we were. My guess is in large part due to Mr. Bassler. Many Thanks to yo...
