Good morning everyone and thanks for all the replies! The flame arrester already has the pcv hose attached and no place for the vent gromment in the kit. After a little research I believe that I have the wrong fuel pump will check a bit further. Thanks again for all the replies.

1977 lancer19'w/307engine

I am trying to"restore"this boat and am a little confused! The block was replaced with a 350 but it appears that all the 307 accesories were reused. The fuel pump has a "port" on it for a small hose to connect to the carb. but the carb. does not seem to have a port to connect to. Either I have the w...

Re: Best receiver mounted mud flaps

I made my own! Used a heavy rubber truck mudflap and attached to a length of alum. angle iron which was suspended from the bumper. I had a dually p/u---you can't make it to low or ridge or it will break on a curb!

I have a 1957 23' sea skiff--- the no's are on the cross member behind the rear seat back--just fold the back down and you should see them! Also on the block that the bow light is mounted on --toward the wind shield. Good luck! George

Boat looks great! That's a bigger job than I would have tackled espeially on a sea skiff. I also have a 1957 Sea skiff and just recently had a cover made (not cheap $1100) but it looks great and fits perfect....even has Velcro covers over the chocks where the lines run through! I could not find a re...

Is there a better cover for "bunks" than carpeting? Seems like the carpeting hold water for a long time and would tend to keep the hull wet and therefore promote rot. Any ideas?

Bottom paint

Has anyone had any experience using "Kush" paints? I have a 1957 Sea Skiff and do not need the antifouling bottom paint as the boat lives on the trailer except when in the water[fresh] ---the longest time would be about a week maybe twice a season. Any other suggestions?

Re: Trailer detail - at what height to support the cut water

Figureing out a bridle is easy...typing,spelling and posting pictures is impossible!! The bridle is made from nylon tow straps from Harbor Freight ...in my case 1-20' and 2-15' clipped together. As it passes around the transom I have two light lines on each corner to hold the strap about half way do...

Re: Trailer detail - at what height to support the cut water

My $.02 worth! I have a 22' sea skiff and had the same problem positioning it on the trailer...I made up a bridle out of tow straps that goes all the way around the hull, including the transom. When retrieving I float the boat all the way on the trailer to the stop..snug up the bridle with the winch ...

Grant Thanks for the reply..I to have tried the "bridel" with little success! I used 3/4" nylon line but it stretches too much to help. You can't pull sideways on the lifting eyes as you will crack the deck. I tried holding the boat against the bow stop [with the engine] while my wife pulled the tra...
