I have a 14" dia with 18"pitch, I just had it reworked and I am at lots of rpm, no speed....18mph at 3500rpm...what pitch is yours ?

Hey, I need to buy a new prop...or recondition the one on the boat. I believe the boat is under propped...does anybody know what size/pitch came from the factory ? I am running the v6 with the stringer drive...what props are anybody running and what are your cruising speed/rpms and so on....thanks f...

OK Guys...and gals, I know this thread is slightly dormant...so time to open it back up. I just purchased a 1974 17' Lancer..hopefully the picture uploads. Ladies and Gentleman of the CCABC, here are some of my pictures from the Les Cheneaux show in Hessel Michigan on August 10th of this year. It was a glorious day in Upper Michigan. She is a '34 Constellation built in Holland Michigan and delivered to Colony Chris Craft in Algonac. I am pretty sure the bridge was added later but the bridge was an option in 63.

So, On the last Friday in June after the cosmetic work was complete, she was trailered to the crane and lifted into the water. I picked up my 1963 34'Connie last year and more than one person said "thanks for saving her". I had always wanted a wood cruiser and the time was just right.I never thought that I would be helping to save and endangered species...but so far it has been a blast.
