Bilge paint
I talked with Paul at Sandusky Paint. Seems the bilge paint is a special formula for the bilge and he is custom matching my original color from a pc I sent to him that had never seen the light of day. So I will have the correct color and sheen for the boat at the time it was manufactured in the plan...

46 deluxe seats
The pic were very helpful. My seat had been redone and who ever did the job left off the springs at the ends. Chris Craft also has a drawing with dimensions for the front seat that you can get from the archives. Your pic of the spring lay out is very helpful.

2 1/2" copper pipe
I wish I had known about this event. Anyway I spent a lot of time and effort trying to set up a shop to bend my pipe. No one wanted to attempt it. So I saw a video on u-tube of a pipe for a old motor bike being bent. I said to myself I can do that. I will post pics later today and you can see how ea...

Bilge Paint
I am getting back to restoring my 1946 CC 17' Deluxe. it seems there is a product that claims to be the authentic mahogany bilge paint from my past conversations with some suppliers. I will post a picture of the original color that I got off of a batton on the back side of the interior which never s...
