They must have added the gloveboxlid for the 1970 model. I am pretty sure that the sport boats catalog I have showing an electric blue 19' Lancer is for the 1970 models. At the same time the woodgrain seem to appear and remain from then onwards. I cannot pinpoint the boat in the second picture much ...

As far as I know the only wood in the stringers are where the engine is supported so something like 2' of wood moulded into the stringers each side of the engine and thats it! No other wood in any stringers in the hull. Have checked this on my first 19' Lancer and then on my present 23' both got the...

Had this approx 6" high Lancer emblem made in NCC milled brass and then chromed & Painted. It cannot be made larger as it then will not match the gently curved hullsides of the Lancers. So no replacement for the plastic ones. A small series of these were made but not any left. Thomas http://www.post...

The Chris Craft emblem on your boat seems to be of the correct 26" kind. As you have a model with a rubrail on the side making it an early 70's model the star ought to be replaced by the Lancer emblem. In 1969 there was only a Lancer emblem on the hullsides (no CC logo)and on later boats, from -74 o...

Re: 1972 Chris Craft lancer 23

I just purchsed a 1972 CC Lancer 23. The previous owners used the rub rail as a fender and bent it in numerous places. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement one. Thanks. David Bayliner used a rubrail that can be used, aluminium with black rubber centre, check profile and dimensions ca...

Think the CAD created model is fantastic looking! Great work Bo! Re the glitches: Its dangerous to be generic here quite a few things changed during the production of the 19' Lancer. Anyway some thoughts on how things were: 1. Agree! Only to windshield base. 2. Probably true no 19 with pulpit. Know ...

Re: 302FLV

Dustoff, I have the Chris-Craft "The Essentials Guide" book in front of me, they show for 1969 Comanders, that they had two hull # seris and production of 101 hulls. FRAV19-001 TO FRAV 19-086 = 86 boats THE OTHER IS FRAZ 19-001 TO FRAZ 19-015 = 15 boats I would bet the lower production Hull seris i...
