I have removed amp gauge and needle still is frozen at minus 10 amps. Do you think it was damaged if wired incorrectly and if so how could it be repaired?

Thanks for the quick reply Jerry !

I bought the oil for a complete flush this week. The Napa fellow suggested I might substitute kerosene for the Gumout as it contains some lubricants and will do the same job .

What do you think of using kerosene?

Capri Throttle Cable

Dashboard throttle pulls out very hard. I have disconnected from engine linkage and checked to see if any fasteners were to tight, still works hard. How can I free up cable and if unable to repair how much is a replacement.
