I understand the patch would work well. I guess my thought was if I made the whole bottom new then it could be good for another 50 years with proper maintenance but maybe the rest is still good (havent found soft spots or swelling) and will last longer then what Im thinking in my head lol

I have a 1959 23' Cavalier and am curious as to if someone has an idea on how to support one side to replace a full section of plywood. Which was damaged by the previous owner who used the wrong trailer and cracked it 4" inboard of the chine. Just looking for options other then flipping it first. Th...

Bought my first Chris and just got her home. She needs new side wood and some other minor tlc but solid overall. Excited to start working on her but of course it started to rain
