March 2nd Cincinnati Symposium - Who's going?

Just curious who is going to the symposium at the antique boat center on March 2nd and 3rd. I'm considering going and would be traveling from NYC.

Let me know when you get a call from "Mr. MBL." :)

I've always liked the B engine, just have nothing to put it into.

I've always loved the sedan and he did a great job blocking it. I'll probably have the bottom done then do the rest myself.

Help in Kentucky!

Well I am the lucky new owner of a 22' Sedan. I've always loved this boat. The only problem is the boat doesn't have a trailer and it's in KY. I have family back in Rockford, IL, but I live in NYC. So I'm looking for a trailer, and or a friend who would store the boat in KY for a reasonable price. h...

Yeah permitting gets interesting. 13' is the width at which you need to have real deal permits. There are daytime/nighttime/weekend/holiday restrictions too. I hauled a 10' wide beam and most cops just looked the other way.

Post some pics of the boat!

4x4 minimum. 2x6 would be good but too hard to keep vertical. Get pics and video and post them.

Joe this could be a pretty easy project. We need to get a canoe or small boat on the port side with a 4x4 spanned across to the dock with straps. Get the boat so the rails are just creating the surface. Then we'll use a trash pump to pump the boat out. Now I'm excited.

Hw deep of water is she in? The way I've seen it done is with 2 pontoon boats and lots of straps. Then slowly slowly bring her out of the water. I'm in NYC. Would love to lend a hand if you need it before the freeze.

I know Joe is a fan of epoxy bottoms and not 5200, which if done right can be fine.

I just hope they keep the original power and keep the original gauges.

He has a lot of contacts as he is the local restorer. Another contact would be Dan Bierman (920-294-3661) of Green Lake also. He has a beautiful tr...

I'm in San Fran for 2 weeks!

I'm in San Fran for 2 weeks for meetings. I have this weekend free though and was wondering if anyone was taking their boat out this weekend? I was trying to get ahold of Jerry Turney, but I think he is off the radar. Would love to meet some fellow members in the bay area (That's what you call it ri...
