I would think 50 hours to be a pretty big number. When I had the Skiff for fishing I did about 70 hrs in two seasons.

paul Harrison would be a good one to chime in as he uses his boat a lot.

Dan;

Can you provide details on the year and model you have?

That might help locate others with the same boat who have found the material you are looking for.

Thanks

The latest that we know (two days ago) was that the shipment (the replacement) was confirmed as of a couple of weeks ago. We have reports from as far as Australia of the Bell being received but none yet in Canada. The Postal service is telling us that in some cases it could take 3-6 weeks for delive...

I'm not the Gar Wood expert but my 1931 28-40 had a Consolidated panel. You could have the wrong panel. http://s14.postimage.org/wtal3138t/IMG00049.jpg http://s8.postimage.org/rkhfs16mp/IMG00050.jpg Or perhaps your boat might just use the three hole version. http://s8.postimage.org/6c3rals5t/Consoli...

I was hoping to find someone already making the trip that was able to tow a trailer back. We could set a boat on it if need be. I've contacted John Freeman b...

Paul;

These would be the correct size and style of can for your 1940 19' Custom.

Surely they copied an original that did not have the marine on it?

Tom;

there were several different styles of cans. Here is a pic of an original one gallon standard. It's possible they might have copied a version that did not have "marine" on it. who knows...

Reproduction Duplex oil cans

All; While out at Tahoe/Sierra Boat Co. I saw these in their store. Pretty cool reproduction Duplex oil cans. The can is not a screen print but rather a sticker but I give an A for effort. Contact Sierra if you are interested in putting the finishing touch in your bilge. www.sierraboat.com http://s7...
