I would say moisture, but it's weird because the rest of the boat's bungs are light.

Kusti , the pulley must come off, but be carful it's aluminum and very easy to break.

Hey Phil, I too am sorry for your loss. What a painful thing to go thru. This is crazy, I have known Tom Hilliker for over twenty years and he has worked on many boats for me over that time. His workmanship has always been A1 and anyone who knows me knows I can be a pain in the ass about this stuff....

It is a topside paint, but works well as a high gloss bottom paint. I have been using the red,green, blue, and black for years with great success . As always, prep is key.
