I agree with Dale, I have similar scuppers in my aft cockpit in my Roamer, but my drain holes are an intregal part of the hull so i don't really know what the hardware looks like....maybe like what I posted a few messages ago.

Found another Hull Number on the engine hatch itself R17 1343, so with 1341, 1342 and 1343, it leads me to believe like an automobile....never buy one that was made on a Monday :roll:

2 Hull Numbers?

This one is new to me.
A 1948, very original custom runabout has R17-1341 stamped into the appropriate aresa...BUT, R17-1342 on to her brass ID engine cover plate.

Any answers? :?:

Is there a way to polish scuffs off the hull, from say..........bumping into a dock n stuff? People would laugh at me when I pulled out my finger nail buffer and started to work on my varnish. BUT..... this will take out superficial marks and, even after your last coat of varnish, will knock down m...

I have twin K's as power. The stbd is a "K", the port is a "KO" with CCW starter and generator, the question is....is the firing order the same as the "K"

Propeller shaft

Have a 57 Sportsman and have pulled the engine.
The prop shaft is hard to turn by hand.How tight should it be? It has a grease fitting and has been greased, will it being in water lubricate it more? Should I back off the packing nut?
