Interesting article on modern techniques for wood construction. If wood again becomes a viable material for construction, new boats can then be made entirely out of wood again. If that happens then a new interest in restoration of antique boats may vitalize our hobby!

I don't think Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn counts as a good reference for building a cruiser.
