Boat Buzz

I recently stripped the hull and cleaned up all the joints and re filled them as needed. I epoxy primed the hull and used white enamel finish. Now cracks from the joints are showing through, is this normal? Hate to go through this process all over again .

Wood is constantly expanding and contracting depending on atmospheric moisture conditions. So, paint cracking is normal along plank edge joints. Boat gets wet the cracks tighten up. Drys out they open up again. That's just the nature of wood. Some paints and seam fillers are more flexible than other and will allow for some paint movement, but chances are you'll still get some cracking at seams.
