No one seems to have replied to this yet. My understanding is the correct glass for this is the same as pre war auto laminated safety glass. If so, i think you could probably get some thru a reputable old car restoration company in your area that has a connection to an appropriate glass supplier.

We will have a 19' with a bugatti style windshield coming in here in a few weeks. Do you have the old glass or is it gone? If not we could make a pattern, send it to you and then you could see if it fit. I would not feel safe on making the glass for you off of the one coming in and then sending it to you. The chances of it fitting just right would be slim.

I do have original glass here, including MM drawings of same, for the 1938-39 Bugatti windshields.
I'm willing to bet that my local glass-guy can cut and "pencil-grind' the top edges for somewhere near $55 each, apiece?

OK..,
I just figured out what I had done wrong.., due to the recent 'wannacry' virus, I had disconnected my 1-Tarrra backup that holds such photos..,
Here is the figured glass shapes..
I do still have originals, including the original, rubber-infused, cork gaskets.

They are NOT that difficult!
Well, my ability to attach them here might just wait a 'mo?

Hey, Ho,
I just found these...,
I do have photos of the originals as well!
Why do I not see how to attach these photos?

OK, so I had to hire a ^%$ 'KID' to re-initialize my photo, back-up, hardrive to access these photos....

The drawing, from the Mariners' Museum is # A2062.

I might make a pattern from these original glass panels from CC # 48510, but they might NOT likely fit your frames? Your frames will tell the story you need? NO, they are not all exactly alike!

The glass panels can be cut from 1/4", laminated, 'safety glass'.

Its really not all that expensive.
