MORE PHOTOS from The French Connection Article, Vol 1 2018, Brass Bell

Post by Paul P » Sat Jun 09, 2018 11:24 pm

Hello everyone,

The article I wrote for Volume 1, 2018 was about two very special antique and classic boating enthusiasts in France, Jean Bernard Nicolas and Ariane Mainini, and we had so many photos but so little space to share them in the Brass Bell. Here are some of the images about that very cool shop that didn't get published. Thanks Jean Bernard and Ariane for sharing these with the Chris Craft Antique Boat Club, it was such a pleasure working with you on the article.

This is my favorite photo of the whole bunch, look closely you can see the beach in the background. Ariane let me know what brand of wine they were pouring, looks like fun !

In case anyone is wondering, “The French Connection” is wrapping up reconstruction of a very rare early Chris-Craft race boat. I will try to obtain current photos.

Paul,
See if they ever found a hull number. This was sent to me last month.
