Golden Arrow on Conesus Lake

If it doesn't pertain to metal, wood, wire or fabric—but it is about vintage Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Golden Arrow on Conesus Lake

Post by Tom Gruenauer » Mon Jul 07, 2014 7:36 am

Working on the cottage 7/5 Look out and see (what I think) is a 19' Chris Craft Golden Arrow heading south down the eastern shore. Anyone know who it was?

Many fond memories of your lake where we vacationed in the 50's and many wooden boats back then. As a small boy........... that is where I saw my first Christ Craft.

There are still a few on the lake, 3 or 4 Chris Crafts, a very nice Duke and a big Dodge runabout. Some day I hope to have my Chris there too!

My ski-jet was originally delivered there. The older generations of my family also spent a number of summers there before migrating to Keuka. I know a few lakefront owners, but none with a golden arrow or any vintage CC for that matter.
