Thanks Doug....... I'm not sure the market will bear the cost plus mark up, but I'll probably put it out there on eBay...... I have yet to find a green lens for the 9000 series of these lights. They all have blue.

Yep Doug, there are a ton of blue ones around...... believe me, I looked high and low for an ratty looking light that I could take the green lens from, but they were all blue..... every last one of them.

OK,,,,,,,,,, I finally got it right...... Well almost.

The transparent dye I was using to color the two part epoxy resin was not compatible with epoxy so it was changing colors from green to blue as it cured.

This lens is a little too clear and not dark enough green for my tastes, so I'll do another one with a little more dye mixed in.

If anyone needs one, let me know. I should be an expert pretty soon.

EURIKA............. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got the green colored dye rght........ the casting is almost perfect. The parts that aren't won't show once the lens is back in the bow light.

I think I'm in business............. If anyone needs one of these let me know.

WOW! That seems like a lot of work for a bow light lens, but if they aren't available you have to get creative.

I must say, you work looks amazing! When can you start making other odd ball lenses? I could use replacements for my tiny bow light as they are both fading toward clear.

Thanks Brian....... BIG learning curve for sure. Send me a picture of your bow light and let me take a look and see how hard they would be to make the mold for.......... I am assuming you can not get replacements for your's either??
