Just went to My Account to update my address and it said my membership expired last June and the Spring Brass Bell would be my last issue. I was never notified that I recall. Are we losing members because of this?

My online account has remained active. Curious whether new brass bell was sent to me.

The short answer is your membership has not expired yet.

The old membership system was based on receiving 4 issues of the Bell, not the Gregorian calendar or anything recognizable as a calendar of sorts. Since the club got behind on Bell mailings, you are still owed two more issues if I am counting correctly (winter and spring) before you need to renew. I understand we are converting to a calendar based membership for renewals but I don't know how the exact mechanics will work. I think the plan is to catch up on the Bells so that it doesn't matter either way.

Thanks Matt F. for the explanation. And thanks Matt Wells for renewing your membership today. You will receive the latest Brass Bell soon (if not already). You would have received one more issue had you not renewed today but we are extremely thankful for your renewal.

We will be changing the way we renew our membership next year. In the past this was much the same as a subscription. In the future it will be be changed to an "Annual Membership". The details for implementing this will be discussed in detail soon. We assure you that the transition will be made fairly to every member.

Was Volume XXXVIII, Number 1 also published in a PDF digital version and linked on the Chris-Craft web site somewhere?

Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.

Thanks everyone for posting.

I think we did much better this time regarding the USPS.

Let's hop the next issue goes even better.

We are pushing the content and design right now.

Best

No joy here yet, and I am only a few miles from 57skiff. I must be on some postal black list or something.
