Haul "Tunza Fun" from KS to MN this summer

Winterizing? Summerizing? Covering? Trailering? If it is about a boat out of water put it here.

Haul "Tunza Fun" from KS to MN this summer

Post by Steve Johnson » Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:56 pm

Looking to find a hauler to move my almost restored CC 17" Custom Ski from KS to MN this summer. This boat is sitting on old, NOT-roadworthy trailer that I need to move early summer. Am trying to find someone with covered trailer to haul boat and trailer for me. Total length from hitch to back of boat/trailer is about 21 feet. Anyone have any suggestions on who to call for reliable, inexpensive transport?

Couple of options.
1. Put it on a roadworthy trailer and haul it yourself.
2. If you have to have covered put it in the back of a U-Haul truck.
3. Remove the plug. It's illegal to trailer a boat without removing the plug in MN. (Don't ask  )

He had a gun and a badge. I was fresh out of donuts. Apparently it is to stop the spread of invasive species.
