10 hour drive in January: how to cover boat economically
Picking up a 39 19ft barrel-back in January For a 10 hour journey. How should I cover the boat to protect it for 600 mile trip home? Boat wrap over cockpit area and leave everything else open or buy waterline cover for trip etc....need a cover when it is at boat slip and stored in garage but do not want to buy a expensive cover just for the trip home. Advice appreciated...

Unless you have a custom cover made I'd trailer it open and play the weather. A custom cover is expensive but a good investment. It will save more than it will cost in the long run. Shrink wrap is another option.
