Shipping a CC to Tahoe Concours, 2014

Winterizing? Summerizing? Covering? Trailering? If it is about a boat out of water put it here.

Shipping a CC to Tahoe Concours, 2014

Post by rmarschner » Wed Jan 15, 2014 8:28 pm

I'd like to have my 19' CC barrel-back at the Tahoe show next August, but I'm not able to do the trailering myself. Does anyone know of a reliable, insured carrier who can pick up my boat in Cleveland and take it round trip to Tahoe and back?

Rich, FYI the concours will not be happening at Sierra Boat this year. At this time, I have not heard that the Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation has found a new venue. Herb Hall

Rich,

If it helps/cheaper to take 2, I'm outside of Chicago and would be interested in getting my boat out to Tahoe this year also.

I briefly checked into it last year and it was very expensive.

That's too bad, Herb, you have an excellent location and you and your staff have always gone the extra mile to help make the show a success.

Anyone have word on where the show will be or if there will be one? If there is one is August, those of you bringing boats to California , think about coming to Coeur d' Alene, a little later in August. Always a great show and we are happy to get visitors.
