desperately seeking: BOATING MAGAZINE

Post by jfrprops » Wed Dec 07, 2016 11:11 pm

I am researching the history of the building and marketing of Fairchild Scout 30 retro pocket trawlers. There was an article and sea trial story in the JULY 1979 issue of BOATING....I am willing to pay good money for a copy of that magazine in decent condition, so if any of you folks think you may have one in the attic....take a look and get back to me.

I have some pretty good info in my archive already, but that particular article is the best one out there...I have a zerox copy but really want to find an original mag.

Have searched some internet sites that sell back issues, no luck so far (shame I am not looking for a car mag or a skin mag) tried ebay of course....there is one issue from 1979 to be had there but not the July one I need.

Welcome any and all suggestion as to places to search.

Many thanks,

Have you contacted the magazine? I know CLASSICBOATING magazine sells old issues.
