Wow! I just received an original 1958 Chris Craft sales catalog that I found on the internet that is in great shape. It has every one of the boats and spec's for that year and the colors are great. This catalog has helped with actual colors for my interior and actual hardware placements. It also shows the options offered for each of the boats that year. It sure is great to still find great condition documentaion like this today.

Very cool indeed. I'd be very interested in seeing any Capri shots. Any chance you can scan Amy of it? I bought a color ad for the '57 lineup that shows the interior colors, albeit small.

Pete,

Is that the same catalog that is in the Archive or is it different?

I just looked at this - there is a fairly decent photo (B&W) of the linoleum flooring in a Continental (which is similar to that used in later Capri's).

I'd really like to find a catalog for 1957.

The catalog I purchased is the full lineup for 1958. It is 39 pages packed full of color photo's and specifications along with options available and is about 14" wide X 11" tall. I purchased it hoping I could get better color shots of my 58 19' Capri. The color in the catalog is great and is unfaded even on the covers. My boat is an early 58 Capri and it will be great for final documentation of the deck, hull sides, etc and interior pattern and color. The flooring color (green) shows on the 58 continental photo's in the catalog. Best of all it says my boat will have "Flashing Speeds" I guess that is 38mph...
