1937 40' Dbl Cbn Cruiser

Post by LaBob » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:10 am

I am currently building a couple of models of said cruiser. Have the plans from the museum, Jerrys book, and a Waterways catalog from 1937. My problem is that the line drawings differ from the profile drawing which differs from the Waterways pic which differs from Jerrys pic in the Essential Guide. LOL I would really appreciate any pics or drawings of said boat or pics out of the 1937 Catalog (which I have yet to acquire at this time!). Thirty hulls were built, and I figure they pretty much built them on order so they would be built to owners specs. Jerrys book shows the 1938 version on page 119. (They were built in 1937 & 38)
Any info appreciated.

The one pic I have of the console APPEARS to show two distinct throttles ON the instrument panel. Does anyone have better info????

Of course the 1937 40" had two engines. I am trying to learn where the throttles were located on the console................
