One of the primary advantages of moving to a web-based forum is that discussions are archived and are available for retrieval at a later date. As the depth of content on this forum grows over time, it will become a bigger challenge to casually browse to "that topic from two years ago."
Enter Search. Located at the link at the top of each page, Search will get you to what you are looking for quickly. Try entering "engine" or "graphic" and see where it leads you. You can search within a specific category or across all categories.
Another quick way to find information is to search by "author" or who the topic was posted by. For example you may remember a post by Matt Bryne, but you may not remember much about the actual wording in the post. You can go to the Memberlist link at the top of the page and scroll to the user that you are looking for. Click on his/her name and you will be taken to a brief profile. On that profile page, you will see a text link that says "Find all posts by Matt Byrne" This will return to you a list of every post by the user.
