Pictures, problem

Post by parroteyes » Mon Jan 04, 2010 6:19 pm

21115 is a posting number.

The small pictures in the post, when clicked, go to the posting box instead of opening as larger pictures.

I am not clear what you mean by "21115 is the posting number." Can you elaborate?

I think I know what you mean.

If you click on a pic and it goes to the postimage box, then the image you clicked on IS as big as it gets. Clicking on it is redundant, if you get the postimage box it means the thumbnail image is all you get.

Only the pics with the black bar with the size can be clicked for full resolution.

Make sense?

Those original pic's (JPG files) were only 150 x 115 px to begin with, so what you see is all you get. PostImage usually shows a thumbnail image around that size and when you click on it, they post the original file, which is usually much larger. In this case the originals were small to begin with.

I learn something new every day.
Thanks for telling me the fine points of the image posts!

BTW The number I called the "post number" is the one that shows up in the Digest.

OK I understand the number you are referring to now. Yes, it is exactly as Brian and Al have stated. On anything less than about 640 px wide, Postimage will just embed the original, rather than creating a thumbnail which clicks out to a larger image.
