Am I reading the name on the transom of the U-22 correctly? HER'S (instead of HERS)? Spent the money for the lettering and it's spelled wrong? Ouch!

I guess that's the idea, but it's spelled HERS, not HER'S. HER'S isn't a word in the English language.

Do not believe the name listings in the ACBS.. One of my boats was listed as "Mare de Merde"
They don't use spell check.
