New boat owner. Have 1959 Capri with 283. Looking to add closed cooling system as I use boat occasionally in salt water. Any help from someone with this modification is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Fairly costly for occasional use, particularly when a manifold/sea pump freshwater flush still needs to be done.

If you are on a trailer...after you are boating in salt water, and if you are close, take your boat to a fresh water lake, back it in and run it for a few minutes in fresh water.....will help your trailer also..

Probably easiest to install a hose connection on the cooling water intake line. Hook up to garden hose and flush when get the boat home ?

I would not go to that expense and trouble for occasional use in the salt.....like the others have said...flush it...also adding that fresh water cooling takes up a lot of space and makes getting to other stuff a real tough go.
