First....Congratulations and welcome!
Second....we LOVE pictures! Post some for us ok?
Third....if you plan to trailer the boat, please consider a 5200 bottom. Buy Don Dannenburg's book and study it carefully...
Fourth....(return to First, second and third steps:)

Welcome - The U22 was very popular then and remains so today for very good reason - wonderful boats and easy to use. There is an abundance of material available in the archive of the CCABC in respect of these boats, but there is far more available from the experiences and talents of the members of the club and contributors to this board. The boat looks like a significant project, but of course from pictures it is nearly impossible to tell what is needed.

Don Hardy is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and I am sure he will be of assistance to you as well - he will also be a great source. Do you plan to restore it to original as-delivered condition or are you thinking of modifying it?

Best of luck with this worthy boat and as others have said - keep the pictures coming!

The only modification would be the 5200 bottom. Other than that I intend to keep it original. The only thing different is that this boat was reported with a hemi from what Don says they dida great job on the engine
