Hull number location

I recently purchased a 1955 18' Sea Skiff. Where would I find the Hull number?

I have a 1957 23' sea skiff--- the no's are on the cross member behind the rear seat back--just fold the back down and you should see them! Also on the block that the bow light is mounted on --toward the wind shield. Good luck! George

Thank you. I'll check behind the seat as the wood for the bow light was replace by a previous owner.
