Any suggestions?

Northern Idaho.
Re: Trailer
If you are not in an area with a large population of these boats then you will be paying a lot for a custom trailer.
If no one responds from your area then you can try and do as I did and find a base stock inboard style trailer with bunks then hopefully they will work with you on the options that you want:
Number of axles
Swing Tongue
Surge brakes (check your state laws on this)
LED lights
Custom bow stop

I would give Ryan Trailers a call in Portland. Little bit of a hike, but worth the trip. They are well versed in wood boat trailer construction.

Re: Trailer
If for some reason that does not work call me and Phoenix Trailers can build you one and ship it. I'm pretty sure they have the measurements for that boat so it would be fixed and a custom trailer as basic or fancy as you want. They build a beautiful trailer.

Re: Trailer
Thank you all.
I have family in Portland which makes that easy, and I need to contact the McCall folks on some repair issues.
Again, Thanks.

Re: Trailer
I will second the mention of ryan trailers. We have one for our boat. He does a fantastic job, and has the virtue of being here in the nw. A top quality product.
I dont see you listed as an inland empire acbs chapter member. Can we interest you in joining? a nice group of people who put on an annual show in Sandpoint, the week end after the 4th of July, and numerous other activities. Thanks.

Re: Trailer
EZ Loader trailer in Spokane builds a great woody boat trailer. I have one under my 1959 Capri. Really a class trailer.
Contact me if interested in Inland Empire ACBS. Great group.
Also, Andy Kerfoot at Wood Boat Endevor in Post Falls is a great woody boat restorer. National awards earned.

Re: Trailer
Don and QuickChange,
I will be joining the IE ACBS.
Short story is that I have U-22-329 bought new by my grandfather. Restored by my parents in the late 60s. Very nice amateur restoration, still in pretty good shape, and used by the family. Not in the water for 10+years.
I also have U-22-252 bought new by my uncle. It has a ventilated hard top. It has some damage due to an interim owner trying to start it by using an air compressor to blow gas from the gas tank to the engine. Looks to me like a very good fixer upper.
I have been distracted by work and have just started to focus on the boat/boats. They will be returned to Priest Lake where they grew up.
Thank you for the input. I expect to be in touch in the future for the guidance that I will need.

Re: Trailer
Where are you working on them?
Re: Trailer
Great. Sounds like you have 2 neat boats and a project. Most of the chapter members will be at the sandpoint show in july, so please come if you can and introduce yourself. I am sure your story would be of interest in the chapter magazine, the Inland Empire Scuttlebutt. Do post some pictures if you get a chance. The U 22 with the ventilating hardtop is not all that common and a neat contrast to the 22' custom sedan of the period.
Looking forward to meeting you.

Re: Trailer
Doug, I am in the Moscow, Idaho area. We have done most everything ourselves. The damaged boat will need professional work, and we are looking from McCall north.
