different style throttle

My 59 chris craft ski boat has the original in the dash pull type throttle control that my wife finds hard to operate, any ideas on what to replace it with that looks that era that would be more of a conventional off to your right side handle type.

I would try lubricating your present throttle first.

Or buy a new one Morse Teleflex with threaded rod end.
