James Anthony Boats
I know, not a Chris Craft, but sometimes those of us who love boats find some other boats of interest. Hoping that someone in this forum may recognize the "brand". While I love my 17' Model 199, it does not work well for more than me and my wife so considering a fiberglass/mahogany option as a #2 for more family use. There were only about 18 of the 21 foot runabouts built with fiberglass hulls and mahogany decks. They were built in upstate NY in the early 90's by James (Anthony) Lombard who then became a veterinarian in the Finger Lakes region and about when he was going to resume boat building died suddenly in 2010 at only 55. One is for sale and I am trying to figure out fair value. Thanks for any information.
Re: James Anthony Boats
I Googled the boat and found it listed on BOAT TRADER for $29,500 and at a broker for $45000.
Nice looking boat. There is no way to establish value on such a low production craft. Sorta depends on the quality of the boat and how much you like it. I'd check in to insurance first.

Re: James Anthony Boats
That is the one I am considering. The listings are for the same boat with the $45,000 listing expired. I will check in with Hagerty. Good idea. Thank you.
