The spec sheet for our 1961 32' Sea Skiff obtained from Mariners Museum indicated flooring was teak vinyl. Do we know of a source??

Teak Vinyl

Post by evansjw44 » Wed Nov 05, 2008 2:44 pm

I had the teak color vinyl on my '58 30' skiff. I'm pretty sure it wasn't original but when I rebuilt the deck I put teak vinyl back on. That was in 1976. The teak vinyl is long gone but you can buy it in white. It has the plank stripping like the teak. It would be nice if someone started reproducing the old colored vinyls. The decks on my '67 35' Corinthian are supposed to be grey vinyl. Also long gone. Even the heavier grade white vinyl for decking is gone. All you can get is the stretchy cabin top material if you don't want the plank stripes.

Maybe some pack rat has a role or two of what you need stached in his barn.
