Lancer Interior

Post by craigjudge » Wed Mar 02, 2011 8:34 pm

I'm having the upholstery on my 75 Lancer redone. According to the shop where I brought my lounge seats, the original material is no longer available. We have been able to match the pattern of pleats but the original material had a much more pronounced and deeper grain to it. I believe he referred to it as a camel grain. Does anyone know if the original roll and pleat or "quilted" white vinyl material is still available?

Lancer Interior - Keyston Bros

Keyston Bros. carries a pleated vinyl called Cutlass Soft. It comes in white as well as colors. Not sure about the camel grain you mention, but they have quite a few to choose from with various textures.

I guess if nobody has any insight, I'll have to go with the material my upholsterer found. Anybody have any other ideas?

I belive the shop in Portlan, Oregon. SM Fabrics will make pleated vinyl from any stock yardage . Could be worth the look . do not have # but sure someone knows it. good luck.
