XK-19 windshield replacement

Post by xk19dan » Sat Jun 28, 2008 11:17 am

Just wondering if anyone has information on replacement windshield glass for the XK-19. My '73 shows some crazing and I wouldn't be surprised to see it break. Thanks...

Was that windshield originally tempered glass or plastic?

If plastic I have a company down here that does those things and has helped many classic boaters.

The windshields are plastic mounted in an aluminum frame. If one can get it out of the frame intact, should be easy to replicate.
