flooring on a 1936 31' single cabin cruiser
Anyone know what flooring would have been used on the back deck/cockpit of my 1936 31' single cabin?

Probably canvas, painted, with a non skid additive like silica or walnut shells, but that's just a guess. It's fairly early, but I would think that some commercial marine flooring existed.
Honestly, I have no idea, but someone hear likely will.

Good point Greg, I know some of the 50's cruisers were fir decks.
