Looking for a all black steering wheel for a 18 ft. 1959 continental. Does anyone know where I can get a reproduction or a good used one?

I have one that is for the tapered steering shaft that is NOS. Yours may be serrated.

Horn ring and spoke treatment looks like late 40s, early 50s Chrysler. My 48 Sea Maid also had one of these. There may be some sourcing in those realms. Did you check with Jim Staib? CQ

If Greg has an NOS one I'd buy it. Change the shaft if you have to.

This wheel was also used on Chrysler, Dodge and De Soto in the early '50s, but with a different center cap. The Chrysler Corp. part numbers (cast into each part on the back side) are as follows: wheel #1330994, horn ring #1326682 and Plymouth cap #1551642.
Using these numbers, I have found these parts at antique auto used parts suppliers. Part #1330994 wheel will mount on the straight splined steering shaft that Chris-Craft normally used.

I had my steering wheel restored by:

http://backwardsunlimited.com/

My wheel is on page 15 in their gallery. Labeled as a Chris Craft banjo wheel.

Seemed to be a good job as far as I was concerned, although I'm no expert.

They seemed to be real knowledgeable about Chrysler wheels as I recall.

re-booting an old post. I am looking for one of these wheels now if anyone has one. Preferably a splined center. I have a nice horn ring and Plymouth Savoy ship center. So what I really need is the wheel, hub, and chrome spoke pieces. But complete is always nice too.

Thanks if anyone has a lead. Don Hardy has one on eBay but it is a keyed center.
