Post by kwmpa » Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:59 pm

I need a new Gar Wood burgee for my 16' that I just purchased does anyone know where to get one?

I also need to get ahold of Tony Mollica if anyone has his contact info?

Thirdly is there still an active Gar Wood society? If so is there contact info for them?

The Gar Wood society is no longer active. Their has been some rumbings of maybe bringing it back.

I may have Tony's contact info let me dig around. All of Tony's records are now at the The Antique Boat Museum www.abm.org

Greetings,

Contact the Antique Boat Museum and put in a request for the hull card. I did so last year and with the response I got further info and clarification. Alas, what we thought was a 1939 was actually a 1940 model delivered January 1940.
