Every year there is someone that brings a small cruiser, but its a small lake that is connected to other lakes. If you are thinking that this is show with some cruisers like Algonac, Or in Washington, it aint that. BUT, this is the largest show of the year hands down. And an insane good time. Everyone is there and its 80 degrees!

Friday Night . . .

Post by Budgiecat2 » Wed Feb 15, 2012 12:37 pm

I don't mean to rain on a Friday night dinner somewhere, but the somewhere is for most everybody the Captain's Party held on site! I do like the idea of a "Flash" meeting at the CCABC/WoodyBoater tent! Count me in!

Dinner on friday would conflict with that Captn's meeting....
It has always been wierd to me that in order to have credentials around your neck and go to that dinner you have to bring a BOAT to the event. I have done that about every other year for some time....but I don't mind paying the registration fee to get the creds and pass..in years when I am boatless
..don't see on the sunnyland website where one can do JUST THAT??
but the boat buzz crew meeting is a good one and the group picture an annual tradition now.

Didn't we meet at 4:00 PM due to the late returns from the Picnic Cruise on Friday last year?

I think we returned from the picnic cruise last year around 3pm, earlier than most. So Al's suggestion of 4pm for the photo should give everyone time to return, tie up, run to the outhouse and be at the CC/WB tent smiling & ready for a classic photo.

So is this an open offer for any CC member? If so we will be down there this year.

The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is sharing a tent at the Sunnyland Antique & Classic Boat Show in Tavares with Woody Boater and needs your help.

If any of our members plan to be there this weekend we would appreciate any help that you may be able to offer. We would like to have a person at the desk any time the show is open to the public.

If you can help with this please stop by the tent and volunteer some time.

Thanks much,

Oh, and don't forget to be there a 4:00 PM Friday for the group photo of Club members.
