Paul probably gets 75-100 hours worth of roadside assistance per year, but I bet he doesn't get that many hours of engine time on each of his boats.

To be fair, I have to admit to mostly cruiser experience, so there are extended cruises, and at generally lower speeds, so the hours add up. My little Atkin sailboat probably get a fairly high number of uses, but only an hour or two at a time, since it's just a daysailer.

The other jealously I would have to admit to is the ability to more carefully control the environment for a boat. A trailered boat is a wonderful thing in a lot of ways :wink:
