Do we know anything about the history of this boat?

Yeah, Matt beat me to it on Craigslist in 2007...

I guess it helped that it was a few miles away from him and 2000 miles away from me.

But I'm not bitter...

There were a couple other guys from the area that also called on that boat, myself included.

I believe Matt jumped out of the bushes and tripped Jim Staib on his way to the doorbell. It got ugly.

Yes, the boat gods were looking down on me. I was the first to call on the boat so the owner, luckily, gave me the first chance to buy it. There was a long line of people wanting to buy it behind me.

Looks like the same boat I was looking at back in the early 90's. If It's the same one it was sitting on a boat rack in a marina in Shady Side, MD. The boat hadn't been touched or in the water in probably 30 years. Probably had 3 inches of dust and dirt on her. The owner who lived in another part of the country had died and the Marina was about to seize the boat for back storage fees (I had an in with the Marina to buy it from them) when at the last minute the heirs of the gentlemen who passed decided they wanted the boat. They paid the overdue storage fees and sent a hauler to take it away.
