Can anyone tell me if Ihave the correct bow light for my 1957 22`sea skiff? I have a casting #AF221 and it is a two piece light plus the two lens. Thank you in advance...see you in Clayton on Sat.!

Hi, 57 Skiff-

I have no idea what the casting number is, but this is the bow light I've noticed on most every 1st-Gen. open skiff I've ever seen. This one is original to my early 1954 22' Sea Skiff- it is two-piece, with glass lenses and a nifty forced-air "fo'c'sl. ventilator" built in. There is a radically angled receptacle for the mahogany jack-staff on top of this unit. The original owner had DENBY's jack-staff relocated to the king plank just forward of the windshield because she has her Ivalite mounted just behind the bow light.

If your bow light looks like this one, I'd say you're good to go!

-Best, Grant
