Hello, fellow Sea Skiffers-

It's been a quiet summer on the topic of Sea Skiffs (I guess everybody is too busy boating) so I'm throwing a number of recent Sea Skiff images (taken at the Green Lake, WI and Hessel, MI classic boat shows) out into the water to get this party started.

Show me more!!

Beautiful boats. I love the sea skiff design and lines, but I understand they are planked with plywood. How does the plywood hold together over time? Is it more or less prone to rot than the mahogany planked boats? What are some of the problems specific to Plywood planking? Easier or more difficult to restore? I might get one someday. Thanks
