i just got an 18 foot sea skiff, hull #sk-18-046 to restore. What do I do with that toilet under the front seat bench. Jack
Re: 1956 sea skiff
Remove it, throw it away, plug the hole with wood and epoxy, buy a porta-potty, enjoy the boat!

I say leave it installed and use it as an ice bucket for cold drinks. You'll be the talk of any show you take it to and few will take you up on an offer for a cold beer.

Does anyone know what the thru-the-hull fitting looks like?
If I unscrew the large ring, will it drop straight down?
Can I get a fitting and leave it in and just cap it?
