I finished putting on a 5200 bottom and now I put one row of new side planks,should I finish planking the sides then paint the bottom or will it matter ?

I usually paint the actual bottom while the boat is upside down and then roll the boat. I don't bother painting the chine plank until after the sides are stained and varnished. That way you do not have to worry about accidental drips on the paint.
