Recently purchased a Perko Sea-Mite siren, do any of you know someone who can rebuild the motor, the rest of the unit is in great shape?

He can also re-wire to convert to 12V.
Great work.

Thanks Don, didn't think about Bill, he rebuilt my original horn a few years back.

Spoke to Mr. Randall but he is a bit under the weather and not taking on any more projects for the time being.
Is there anyone else that could be recommended, it is basically the motor than needs attention?

Terry,
Do you have a local starter/generator shop? Ask them.

Look for a shop that still has the gray haired guys working there. The younger guys probably won't have a clue what you're looking for. Not totally their fault; whats the purpose of learning outdated technology? (Lots actually)

After further inspection of the motor for the Siren it looks like I may have to go to option two but haven’t totally given up on option one yet. With that said, option two would be to try and find a replacement motor. Do any of you know what the hp & RPM might be for that motor?
